We would like to invite you and your student to explore the fascinating world of jurisprudence and law enforcement in High School Mock Trial through the Magnolia/Tomball YMCA Youth & Government Judiciary (Trial and Appellate) program.
This program provides students opportunities to develop professional skills in legal procedures, speech, reasoning ability, critical thinking and teamwork through hands on experience. Mock Trial courts are held with youth judges, attorneys, and witnesses. It is an educationally sound method of learning about our government by providing opportunities to participate in the judicial process.
The 2016-2017 Mock Trial team will be the inaugural team to represent the Magnolia/Tomball YMCA Youth & Government Judiciary program in our district. Mock Trial is a great enrichment to your student's high school transcript with the potential of District, State and National recognition.
We are currently interviewing team members and would love to speak with you to share our personal experience with Mock Trial.
Please contact Christian Yost 281-744-4702 text or via email at crhyost@yahoo.com about joining us for our July meeting (TBA).
